Rigging Training Program

Proper rigging practices are often the most commonly misunderstood and misapplied portion of a hoisting operation. Hoisting operators should know proper rigging practices, but riggers on the ground are the ones often relied upon to ensure a load is rigged properly.

Proper knowledge of the equipment and materials used to make a lift is critical to safe hoisting. This program will go through the basics of proper rigging and how to apply this knowledge to make safe lifts.

The course is designed to be self-driven by the student and may be taken all at once, or over a length of time.

Upon completion of the lesson, the student takes the final exam which has a one hour time limit and has a certify/pass mark of 80%. This course allows one attempt at the Post-Exam.
