Proper rigging practices are often the most commonly misunderstood and misapplied portion of a hoisting operation. Hoisting operators should know proper rigging practices, but riggers on the ground are the ones often relied upon to ensure a load is rigged properly.
Proper knowledge of the equipment and materials used to make a lift is critical to safe hoisting. This program will go through the basics of proper rigging and how to apply this knowledge to make safe lifts.
